The outstanding natural beauty of the Peak District National Park is a source of inspiration, relaxation and recreation for millions of people every year. Although a national park, it remains vulnerable and is under constant threat. It is the most quarried national park in the UK, and its location between cities puts extra pressure on space, land and wildlife. The Friends campaign against such threats to ensure our beautiful countryside is protected. We provide the vigilance and vigorous campaigning needed to safeguard the Peak District’s unique landscapes for future generations.
